About the role:

As a Junior Project Manager - Engineer, you will either support or lead projects across sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and manufacturing — ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

A summary of your main responsibilities:

· You coordinate and follow up on projects from the design phase through to final completion, ensuring a smooth and structured execution;

· You communicate effectively with all stakeholders—such as suppliers, operations, and maintenance teams—to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle;

· You proactively identify potential risks and take initiative to implement appropriate solutions;

· You regularly report on project progress and performance, keeping all relevant parties informed;

· In addition, you actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to optimize processes and enhance overall project delivery.

Who are you?

· Preferably, you hold a master’s degree in engineering, or a technical bachelor’s degree combined with relevant experience;

· Some first experience in a project environment is a plus;

· You show a proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership, and you are able to stay resilient while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment;

· You have a strong attention to detail, a structured way of working, and the flexibility to travel within a reasonable distance to client sites;

· You are fluent in English and Dutch or French;
